I was recently accepted to UCSD with my second choice major. My first choice was Computer Science but I got in for Math. I was wondering what any of you know about the Mathematics-Computer Science Major in the math department, specifically I have three questions: Do Math-Cs students have access to all the courses of regular CS students?16. Yes it is more tailored to graduate school. A CSE degree looks better than a COGS degree but that can be made up for by getting internships and minoring in CSE. Definitely more difficult though. Most ML jobs require a graduate degree from what I've seen, but again with appropriate internships this can be overcome.
