FYI: Part 61 refers to part 61 of the federal aviation regulations. It covers most flight training. Part 141 covers schools like Lift. 141 Schools are generally more structured and have lots of different policies and procedures, which in my opinion, make the flight training experience somewhat faster but very rigid and less fun. phantomx001.Unlike ATP, for example, you can start at LIFT after already having your PVT, IRA, CAX or even CFI (the CFIs don’t have to sign the contract though). You can also get through the program much faster than 12 months but it’s ok if it does take you 12 months. I started in Feb with PVT and will start CFI ground next week.
